If you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in the dark with a mosquito.

Folks, in times of disheartening instability, particularly these, we should ask ourselves how we can make a difference; each of us taking a step towards making that happen. I think first though we have to start with setting our hearts right. I pray and strive for that, whether acting individually or with a group of people; especially the latter. Because I’m told even strength in numbers means nothing if the flock is headed in the wrong direction, as actions are worthless if our hearts are not right with God. So my friends, let’s act, with clarity, so that we may make the right kind of difference, and with determination, believing we can be as effective as that mosquito in the dark.
When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn’t change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn’t change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family. Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

Excellently on point as always … Sometimes I feel like I am by myself out there tilting at windmills, fighting the tide. It can get very tiring. You always give me the push to get back out there and keep on tilting!
Muy lindo…..
