Thankful for the freedom I celebrate this day, something that is only a dream for so many. Grateful to those who have fought to protect it every day since those initial shots were fired in a Massachusetts field long ago. Indebted to the two (mom and dad) who sacrificed everything to get me here.
And….for days off from work 
— always grateful for more time to spend with family and friends.

“One nation under God” … wish more people remembered that line. We are indeed lucky and blessed to live in this country, which routinely gets bashed in the press. Yet still everyday people risk their lives to come here. Love the 4th, independence, freedom, hot dogs, barbecues, apple pie and in my neck of the woods … brownies, gotta love it!
