Thankful for unanswered prayers. I pray diligently, confidently, faithfully, and sometimes even with cockiness, because I think I know what’s best for me. Fortunately, God’s not down with what I think I know. Nope, instead, His sovereign Will prevails over my own. And I must trust that. As C.S. Lewis said, “If God had granted all the silly prayers I’ve made in my life, where would I be now?” True story.
