In the spirit of Halloween and dressing up, here’s a throwback to September 5, 1969, Habana, Cuba – me in my flamenco get-up – designed and created by my Mom, who made gazillion costumes throughout the years to dress up my sister, my brother, and me, and every kid in our family (whether we liked them or not!). 🙂
For my Mom’s artistic and loving creations and the great memories they provide to this day, I am so very thankful.
What are you thankful for?

LOVE it! Pero you don’t look very happy-just saying, lol!
Today specifically, thankful for stress-free jobs.
It was itchy. LOL.
Throwback Thursday today gave me major warm fuzzies. Memories of my Mom’s costumes. My favorite was a gypsy costume, lots of jingle jangling bracelets AND got to wear red lipstick and her gold hoops! Thank Heaven for artistic Moms and the memories they made for us.
Barbie ?
How cute…memories.
Such wonderful memories! Love the picture and costume.
I love it! My mom wasn’t a seamstress, but my Abuela was and the ever-so interesting outfits I got to wear were kinda traumatizing, but I survived! Lol
