For grass to water. Recently finished a renovation project at home which left us with really crappy-looking grass. Through the process, I kept noticing the neighbors’ lawns more than ever. Let the comparisons begin! It was crazy. I couldn’t wait to replace ours. Once we did, we were so consumed with the care of our own grass, I didn’t much pay mind to the neighbors’. Know what I’m getting at? Because grass is going to be only as green as we keep it, and most likely our neighbor ain’t gonna come over to water it, we need to focus and work on our own. When you start to feel that “grass is greener” syndrome, hurry, go water your lawn, and be thankful you have grass at all.
What are you thankful for today?
“There is a magnificent, beautiful, wonderful painting in front of you! It is intricate, detailed, a painstaking labor of devotion and love! The colors are like no other, they swim and leap, they trickle and embellish! And yet you choose to fixate your eyes on the small fly which has landed on it! Why do you do such a thing?”

“Welcome to the wonderful world of jealousy, he thought. For the price of admission, you get a splitting headache, a nearly irresistible urge to commit murder, and an inferiority complex. Yippee.”

“But here I am in July, and why am I thinking about Christmas pudding? Probably because we always pine for what we do not have. The winter seems cozy and romantic in the hell of summer, but hot beaches and sunlight are what we yearn for all winter.”

“If the grass is greener on the other side of the fence, you can bet the water bill is higher.”
