That I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. So thankful that my faith is strong enough to believe this. Otherwise, I’d be in a looney bin right now. Enough said.
Oh yeah, and thankful also for greeting cards. The ones with handwriting inside that come in an envelope with a stamp on it. Yes, I know, all that costs money, unlike electronic messages. But there’s a nice warm feeling about those that arrive via snail mail, especially now in time to decorate the fireplace mantle or coffee table (and spread glitter all over the place).
?What are you thankful for today?
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13
“What a wonderful thing is the mail, capable of conveying across continents a warm human hand-clasp.”

A friendship can weather most things and thrive in thin soil; but it needs a little mulch of letters and phone calls and small, silly presents every so often – just to save it from drying out completely.
-P. Brown
You’re so right, is that old fashioned warmth and excitement that’s conveyed when our mailboxes have itheir red flags raised and as we reach inside and grab with anticipation all those, mostly red, envelopes from family and friends afar that perhaps only at Christmastime share their yearly ups and downs in a summary letter. Yes, Jesus is the reason for the Season and brings us together like no other time of the year! It’s the magic of celebrating the birth of our Saviour! <3
Merry Christmas to you and the family. God bless!
