That we will hug again. Remembering my sister today on her birthday. Gone too soon. The best thing about having her, was that I always knew I had a friend, no matter what. The best thing about missing her, is that I know we will hug again. And for that, I am thankful.
Who do you miss? And what are you thankful for today?
“I thought of you today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in frame. Your memory is a keepsake, from which I will never part. God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart.”
–Unknown
“If you have a sister and she dies, do you stop saying you have one? Or are you always a sister, even when the other half of the equation is gone?”
–Jodi Picoult
“I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness..”
–Emily Dickinson
She’s so pretty!!
Beautiful post! I miss my brother and my dad every day. My brother was gone too soon, only 56 years old. But I know one day we’ll all be together again and I’m thankful for that.
Oh, amiga, this so hit my heart. Your posts always do, but this one in particular, oh my. Sending you hugs, prayers and love.
How beautiful. So many have left us way too soon in life. We will always share these losses. Our hearts are entwined forever. You and your family are always in my prayers! Love you lots my friend! Liana
Who do I miss? I miss “the best thing that ever happened to me,” my soul mate, Don. What am I thankful for? All the beautiful memories we created sharing our lives together on this earth….and all my family and friends and even strangers who are guiding me along this journey that will one day return me to the love of my life. Thank you, Connie, for your inspirational guidance. Love you! Boop
