Feeling very fortunate after that mad storm! We still don’t have power and the inconveniences have been many, but we are safe and sound. Neighbors, family, and friends, all coming together to lend a helping hand. How awesome to experience that.
Our hearts and prayers go out to all those who were not as fortunate. The road ahead will be tough, but God will give them strength.
We are very grateful to our kids for their help with the clean-up, which has been quite a project, and also with taking care of their Abuela. Perez Team rocks!
Stay strong, Floridians!
What are you thankful for today?

Thankful for my wife Connie “La Jefa (boss)”, Lauren and Danny you kids are awesome, everyone did what was necessary to keep us rolling along and with Grandma Quintero. Very proud of our adult children. GOD BLESS US ALL.
Perez team rocks indeed! Sending hugs, amiga!
We were definitely spared compared to Cuba, the islands, and the West Coast! Prayers go out to all of them, especially those who are not as fortunate as we are to be able to rebuild one step at a time.
Thank God our Homestead mobile home park was spared 25 years after Andrew annihilation… except for lots of downed trees…and power outage here until yesterday 9/16/17 at 3 p.m. My sister and brother-in-law drove down from Atlanta on Thurs. and we spent Fri. and Sat. cutting and clearing tree limbs from my roof and yard. They headed back north on the Turnpike early this morning and said traffic was bumper-to-bumper southbound on Turnpike & US#1 into the Keys with lots of police and military checkpoints. It’s gonna be a long road to recovery for lots of folks. Don’t need any more storms…praying for all of us. Boop
