For the one-third remaining.
Some years feel a bit heavier than others, but 2020 has felt like a ton of bricks. Phew! What a year it has been so far. And I’m not just talking about the craziness most of us typically witness from afar, nope, I’m talking about what we’ve experienced first-hand. Simply exhausting.
On the upside, however, we’ve improvised, we’ve adapted, and we’ve learned. More importantly, we are hanging in there…fearlessly. Just wanted to remind everyone of that.
Now, let’s look ahead with hope, and trust that God will see us through the one-third remaining.
What are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday’s post…si Dios quiere.
“It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you and will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
-Deuteronomy 31:8
“Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul And sings the tune without the words And never stops at all.”
-Emily Dickinson
And I hate oatmeal raisin!
Lol me too!
Your blog today was so on point today. You said it best because that is exactly how I feel. Year 2020 has been a year of craziness. Every day I have to pray to make it to the next day. I can’t even watch the news because every day is full of craziness and madness. I feel people are just losing their minds.
Well, thanks for sharing.
I so totally agree with Ellen…and the news is like a terrible everlasting rerun every day, not only with human disgraces but with Mother Nature disasters. We must turn to God to find explanations and solutions. I have been praying more now than ever before in my lifetime….and will continue to do so…until this World becomes a better place because we all work harder together to just get it done.
Done with the news. I say the world’s shortest prayer (“Thy will be done”) and keep on praying and going. Love chocolate chip cookies, baking some this weekend! Come on over! ❤️
