So many humans to keep track of. Exactly how does He do it? How many people out there are praying to God? How many prayers does He hear louder than mine? None. Because while I do believe many merit more attention than mine, I also believe mine do not go unnoticed.
So I tell you confidently: PRAY. It’ll cost you nothing (it’s about the only thing inflation hasn’t hit). Pray to your heart’s needs, desires and content, and leave the timing, answers and outcome to Him. After all, sometimes an unanswered prayer is the biggest blessing of all. Let’s place our trust in God and call it a day, folks.
For Your divine omnipresence, Lord, I am thankful. How ‘bout you guys? And what else are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday’s post…si Dios quiere.
“Almost certainly God is not in Time. His life does not consist of moments following one another. If a million people are praying to Him at ten-thirty tonight, He need not listen to them all in that one little snippet which we call ten-thirty. Ten-thirty—and every other moment from the beginning of the world—is always the Present for Him.”
-C.S. Lewis
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks, it will be opened.”
-Matthew 7:7-8
