It takes lives to save lives. Today, I want to express my sincere gratitude to all organ donors and their families. They turn loss into hope.
As I write this, my co-worker and friend, Ana, is in line and on standby to receive the gift of hope from one of these courageous and generous human beings.
For Ana we pray, and for the wonderful gifts that donors and their loved ones so unselfishly give, we are grateful.

What are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday’s post…si Dios quiere.
“You were born with the ability to change someone’s life, don’t ever waste it.”
“To the world you may be one person. But to one person you may be the world.”
-Dr. Seuss
Praying for Ana. I have experienced this wonderful gift when my husband received a liver transplant. The transplant was successful; however he had a very rare parasite that eventually shut down all his organs and led to his death. This was a very rare and unusual parasite, otherwise I am sure he would be with us.
