Let’s talk about words that make you go, “Hmmm….”
If you follow this blog, you know I am big on quotes. Motivational quotes, spiritual quotes, funny quotes, you name it, I quote it.
Most sayings we come across take but a few seconds of our time to digest. Yet, the messages they contain whether light, profound or funny, are sufficient to propel us for months if not years. I am sure you can recall at least one thought-provoking quote you read several years ago that still packs a punch today.
So, I thought it would be a good idea to ask my young twenty/thirty-something readers for some of their favorites. You know, just to mix things up a bit.

– George Santayana (not – Winston Churchill)
Yes, but in a 1948 speech to the House of Commons, Winston Churchill changed the quote slightly.
