For the great outdoors.
Life is good where the Wi-Fi is weak. A week thus far full of adventure, bucket list check offs, and challenges met. Here, where the days begin with breathtaking views of nature and end with unobstructed views of the galaxy, I am surrounded by the beauty, power, and magnificence of God’s handiwork.
We miss our kids, especially on these national park trips. But, we’re thankful today to be where the Wi-Fi is weak.
What are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday’s post…si Dios quiere.
“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. As age comes on, one source of enjoyment after another is closed, but Nature’s sources never fail.”
-John Muir, Our National Parks
“Jobs fill your pocket, but adventures fill your soul.”
-J.L. Beatty
“We know that God is everywhere; but certainly we feel His presence most when His works are on the grandest scale spread before us; and it is in the unclouded night-sky, where His worlds wheel their silent course, that we read clearest His infinitude, His omnipotence, His omnipresence.”
-Charlotte Brontë
My Dear Connie….This was such a beautiful, meaningful post….and your travel photos reawakened in all of us the miracles of Mother Nature. Thank you so much for sharing your “once in a lifetime” adventures! xo Boop
