It’s a no brainer to me that this week’s thankful post expresses my gratitude for the opportunity I had last Thursday night to further promote my little book project, and do it in the presence of such amazing company. As the Books & Books manager wrote to me the day after, “You had a wonderful crowd. There was a lot of love in that room….” Yes indeed, and I felt it! ♥ So thankful.
“You may not remember the time you let me go first.
Or the time you dropped back to tell me it wasn’t that far to go.
Or the time you waited at the crossroads for me to catch up.
You may not remember any of those, but I do and this is what I have to say to you:
Today, no matter what it takes,
we ride home together.”
~ Brian Andreas
Can’t wait for that ride home!
I am sooo bummed that I had to go out-of-town and missed this event. I really wanted to see you and encourage you to keep on keeping on, but it is quite evident that you have an abundance of good folks in your life doing just that. It is ME who lost out in just BEING there in that encouraging and loving environment!! May God continue to bless you and your efforts to glorify Him.
Be well,
Terri
Thank you, Terri, so sorry you couldn’t make it, I was looking forward to seeing you. But thank you, my friend, for your kind words. Big hug.
A thrill ride, no doubt.
I know how Terri feels. So very, very happy for you amiga, your “little” book is a gem. You get the first batch of brownies when baking resumes in the Fall. Sending you and your lovely familia lots of love, blessings and hugs.
