I sent these to Lauren and Danny the other day, not that they don’t already know it, but these images truly capture what it means to be a parent.
Each picture tells a story of sacrifice, love, and the unspoken bond that parents share with their children. They remind us that the most meaningful moments aren’t always the ones we plan, but the ones we live in every day, whether in happiness or struggle.
As parents, we give our children pieces of our own puzzle, helping them build their own sense of identity, strength, and belonging. Sometimes, words fall short in expressing the depth of our connection, but these images? I think they say it all. And then some.
As we continue to celebrate this holiday season, I am reminded of the greatest gift of all —the blessing of family and the privilege of being a parent.
For our children, Lauren and Danny, and for the love that binds us together, I am forever grateful.
What are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday´s post…si Dios quiere.
“Your children are the greatest gift God will give to you, and their souls the heaviest responsibility He will place in your hands. Take time with them, teach them to have faith in God. Be a person in whom they can have faith. When you are old, nothing else you’ve done will have mattered as much.”
-L. Wingate
“No one is ever quite ready; everyone is always caught off guard. Parenthood chooses you. And you open your eyes, look at what you’ve got, say “Oh, my gosh,” and recognize that of all the balls there ever were, this is the one you should not drop. It’s not a question of choice.”

I’m sure I speak for Danny and I when I say, we are grateful for everything you and Papi have done for us and continue to do. Love you to the 🌜& 🔙.
