Family and friends, this is the season to be extra giving, extra forgiving, and extra thankful.
This Thanksgiving, I want to share some words I came across recently:
“Thankfulness takes the sting out of adversity. It opens your heart to His presence and your mind to His thoughts. You may still be in the same place, with the same set of circumstances, but it is as if a light has been switched on, allowing you to see from His perspective. It is that light that removes the sting from adversity.”
I love that. I hope it brings a little light to you today as well.
Wishing all of you a heart full of gratitude, peace, and all the good stuff this season brings. I am grateful for every one of you.
What are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday’s post…si Dios quiere.
“I am grateful for what I am and have. My thanksgiving is perpetual.”

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Thank you Connie for sharing a piece of your soul with your posts which that action on its own brings light to everyone that reads it, even more if they give themselves the opportunity to understand putting them to practice in their own lives. The ones that know say that “gratitude” is the only and true path to “happiness”. Makes sense, since if we don’t recognize the good we already have in our lives how can life feel or be better. Gratitude is more than a “thank you” an expression of the same but without meaning and intention is just another word. Your post reminds us why we need to feel “gratitude”. I’m thankful for many things and among those, for someone like you to share your light. Wishing you today and every day a good “Thanksgiving”. 🥰🙏🦃
A special thanksgiving this year for sure. Grateful for your messages and our family gatherings. Missing my brother and sis in law mucho. 🧡
