Today’s gratitude post is an easy one for me. Ray and I are celebrating 38 years of marriage. That’s 38 years filled with beautiful moments, some weathered seasons here and there, two wonderful kids, and a bunch of real-life lessons that have shaped us along the way.
Kids, take note: respect is everything.
It leads to patience.
Patience leads to understanding.
Understanding leads to grace.
And God’s grace is what has kept our love going when life has gotten messy (because it always does).
I’m so grateful for a love that’s grown up with us, been tested, and continues to hold us together. I pray for many years of health, laughter and faith.
