With Valentine’s Day coming up, I’ve been thinking about how easy it is to focus on flowers, cards, and all the pretty stuff. Wait, cards? Yes, that’s still a thing, people. Somewhere out there, someone is still standing in the greeting card aisle for 20 minutes, reading every single one like it’s a life-altering decision. This holiday, like so many others, has gotten very commercialized, and sometimes we forget how much bigger love really is. I’m talking about the kind of love that doesn’t fit in a box or come with a price tag (or require a second job to pay off 😬).
To me, love looks like the people who check in just to see how I’m doing. It’s the ones who pray for me when I don’t even know I need it. Love looks like patience, grace, and forgiveness.
Scripture reminds us that “love is patient, love is kind.” And I think we see that kind of love most clearly in the small, everyday moments. We see it in presence more than in presents. And we see it in God, who is the true source of it.
This Valentine’s Day, I wish you love like that. The kind that reminds you that you’re never walking alone.
Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! ❤️
What are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday’s post…si Dios quiere.

We’re pretty solid on that type of love and I’m grateful for it 💕
Sending love to all on this Valentine’s Day and always!❤️
