I saw a car fly last week, and it wasn’t a movie!
I watched it during Elon Musk’s unveiling, and I’m still thinking about it. Especially the memes that came after. 🤣
It’s amazing how far technology has come. First, we had Artificial Intelligence (AI). Now, we’re talking about SI (Super Intelligence). What’s next?!
But here’s a thought: If that is super intelligence, what does that tell us about God’s intelligence?
Think about it for a minute. We create things. AI learns things. Now we’re developing technology that can do things we once thought were impossible. A car flies!
BUT… can technology give life? Can it measure the depth of a mother’s love? Or fully explain God’s purpose? God’s wisdom operates on a whole different level. The same God who gave us the minds to think, imagine, create, and innovate is the One who created the universe we’re still trying to figure out.
And don’t get me started on trying to understand the universe. It’s mind-boggling! I can’t even get through an astronomy show without a headache.
Listen, the more I see what we’re capable of, the scarier it gets, in a way. But also the more I’m reminded of how much bigger God is. It’s good to know I don’t have to understand everything because I happen to believe in the One who does. I don’t know about you, but that gives me peace.
Today, I’m grateful not just for what I know, but for the God who knows it all. Even the things my mind can’t begin to wrap itself around. I mean, seriously, how can a tiny mosquito suck an ounce of blood out of me? 😳
What are you thankful for today?
Until next Thursday’s post…si Dios quiere.
